About Vectis

If we called you,
this is probably why.

We don't cold-call randomly. Every business we reach out to was first scanned by an automated agent that grades sites against Google's own benchmarks.

If your phone rang, your website failed at least one of four tests.

Here's the agent and the data.

The four reasons

If we called you, one of these was true.

These are the only reasons we'd reach out. We don't dial random businesses. We dial the ones where the math says we can clearly help.

// REASON 01

You don't have a website at all.

We found you on Google Maps with a phone number, a location, and zero web presence. Customers in 2026 search before they call. If you're not on the web, you're invisible to people 100 metres from your door.

PRIORITY 1 / EASIEST TO HELP

// REASON 02

Your site scored under 50 on PageSpeed.

Google grades every site from 0 to 100 on how quickly it loads. Below 50, more than half your visitors leave before the page finishes drawing. You're paying for traffic that never reads what you wrote.

PRIORITY 2 / FIXABLE IN 2 WEEKS

// REASON 03

Your site fails on mobile.

Eighty percent of local Greek searches happen on a phone. If your site needs pinch-and-zoom, hides the menu, or breaks the contact form on iPhone, you're shedding leads on every visit. We test mobile separately from desktop.

PRIORITY 2 / FIXABLE IN 2 WEEKS

// REASON 04

Your site is invisible to Google.

Missing page titles, no meta descriptions, broken redirects, no sitemap. Even if your site looks fine, Google can't index it properly, so you don't appear in searches like "οδοντίατρος Κηφισιά". We grade SEO as a separate score.

PRIORITY 2 / FIXABLE IN 2 WEEKS

Meet the agent

The scanner that found you.

It is not a person with a phonebook. It is a Python agent that follows the same route every time: first it finds every business in an area, then it grades each one against Google's own tests, then it ranks who we can help most, and only then does anyone pick up the phone. Here is that route, stop by stop.

vectis_prospect_finder.pyRUNNING

Phase 1 · Find them

Map an area, ask Google who's there, keep the independents.

Phase 2 · Grade them

Run Google's own tests, then sort the ones who need help from the ones who don't.

Phase 3 · Reach them

Rank by who we can help most, send it to a human, and respect a no.

  1. 01

    First, it maps the territory.

The agent crosses every chosen Athens suburb with every chosen industry into a route list: Kifisia × Lawyers, Marousi × Accountants, Chalandri × Dentists. Each run takes the next route we haven't walked. No corner scanned twice.

  2. 02

Then it asks Google who's there.

For each route it pulls every matching business from Google Places: name, phone, address, and whether they have a website at all. Twenty to fifty businesses come back per route.

  3. 03

Then it keeps only the independents.

Franchises, national chains, and businesses already on a big corporate site get filtered out. What remains is the local, independent business we can actually help: the dentist, the law office, the neighbourhood gym.

  4. 04

Then it runs Google's speed test.

Every business that has a website gets put through Google PageSpeed Insights: load speed, mobile performance, and SEO health, each scored from 0 to 100. The scores are Google's, not ours.

  5. 05

Then it tags who needs help.

No website at all is the clearest signal, then a failing score on any metric. A site that already scores well is tagged "leave them alone." We only ever reach out to businesses the data says we can genuinely improve.

  6. 06

Then it ranks the call list.

No website plus a phone number is the easiest business to help, so it goes to the top. A weak site with a phone is next. The agent orders the whole list by where we can make the biggest difference fastest.

  7. 07

    Then a human takes over.

Each ranked business lands as a structured note in the agency inbox: name, area, industry, the exact failing scores, and a one-line reason to call. When the phone rings, we already know precisely what is wrong and how to fix it.

  8. 08

    Finally, it respects a no.

Every scan is logged with a timestamp. No business is ever re-scanned or contacted again inside 90 days. One honest call with real data, never a stream of spam.

What we found in your industry

The data behind the call.

Real results from the 841 businesses we scanned. Pick an area to see how each industry's websites actually hold up. Each bar is the share that need a better site, with the slice that have no website at all marked inside it.

Of 841 businesses scanned across North Athens, 489 need a better site and 182 have no website at all. Pharmacies top the list at 76%.

Don't be in the 58%

Right now, 489 of your neighbours are losing customers to faster sites.

Every Monday morning a patient googles a clinic. Every Friday night a customer picks a restaurant. The site that loads in two seconds gets the booking. The one that takes seven doesn't. The gap doesn't wait.

Scan your site, free30 seconds. No email. Just your score.

Plain language

What these numbers actually mean.

We use Google's own tools, so the scores are not our opinion. They're public benchmarks anyone can run. Here's what each one measures in plain language.

PSIPageSpeed Insights

Google's free tool grades a site from 0 to 100 on how fast it loads on a typical phone. Above 90 is fast. Between 50 and 90 is okay. Below 50 is slow enough that visitors leave before the page finishes loading.

Scale: 0 (broken) → 100 (instant)

SEOSearch engine optimisation

Whether Google can find, read, and rank your site. The PSI tool also returns an SEO score that checks the basics: do pages have titles? Do images describe themselves? Is the site readable on mobile? Below 80, you're invisible for searches like "οδοντίατρος Κηφισιά".

Scale: 0 (invisible) → 100 (clean)

MOBILEMobile performance

The same speed test, run as if a customer were on a phone with average reception. Different from desktop because most Greek visitors arrive on a phone, on the move. A site can score 85 on desktop and 22 on mobile. We test both.

Scale: 0 (unusable) → 100 (instant)

A11YAccessibility

Whether older customers, partially sighted visitors, or anyone using a keyboard can use the site at all. Greek law (Law 4727/2020) requires accessibility for many public-facing businesses. Most local sites score 40-60. A modern build hits 95+ by default.

Scale: 0 (excluding people) → 100 (open to all)

LCPLargest Contentful Paint

How many seconds before the main thing on your page (usually the hero photo or headline) finishes drawing. Under 2.5 seconds is good. Over 4 seconds is failing. Most Greek small-business sites land at 5-7 seconds because of unoptimised images.

Target: under 2.5 seconds

CLSCumulative Layout Shift

How much the page jumps around while loading. If you've ever tried to tap a button only for an ad to push it down at the last second, that's a high CLS. Google penalises it because it ruins mobile users. Target is under 0.1.

Target: under 0.1 (almost no jump)

We haven't called you yet?

Either we haven't scanned your neighbourhood yet, or your site scored above 50 (in which case, well done). You can also run the scan on yourself. Free, no email required, no follow-up unless you ask for one.
